Introductions
Please make yourself known in the forums if you wish to contribute in any way, or if you simply have a question. Tommy (the project manager) will respond fairly quickly.
Forums
The forums will be the primary method of communication between developers. All development discussions should be conducted in the developers forum.
IRC
IRC is rarely used at the moment, but it is a good place to pop in to ask quick questions.
- IRC: irc.freenode.net
- Chat Room: #consensuswiki
Mailing Lists
Version release mailing lists are available here. Note that the first email to be sent to the mailing list will concern the alpha release.
Project Brief
The Project Brief contains the 'thesis' for the project. It is somewhat academic in parts, but you can skip to the Design Specification to see the specifics of the tasks ahead. The page is intended to be scrutinized, so if there is anything you object to, object to it!
SVN
We will be using Subversion as our repository. Please visit the SVN page for more details. You will need a sourceforge.net account to perform write operations.
Coding Guidelines
This page should get you started on coding ConsensusWiki.
Tasks
The Tasks:Contents page will display the tasks that need to be performed and produced.
Coordination
Tommy is the primary coordinator for the project, and is dedicating a large part of his life to make this project successful. However, Tommy also wants a degree of autonomy among groups of developers as the project evolves.
